Area 51 - PlayStation

Area 51 is a PlayStation first-person shooter from Midway Games built around arcade-style alien-blasting action. The game sends an elite S.T.A.A.R Forces soldier into the secret Area 51 base to stop an alien infection tied to UFOs and government experiments.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. The disc play surface is in nice condition.
• Light-gun-style shooting gameplay focuses on constant target engagement, powerups, and advanced weaponry.
• Six stages move through alien encounters inside an accurate recreation of the secretive military base.
• Secret rooms include content from the original arcade version plus additional hidden areas.
• Cinematic effects and stop-motion animation sequences support the sci-fi presentation.
• Mouse compatibility offers an alternate aiming setup for players using supported PlayStation hardware.

The PlayStation version adapts the arcade hit for home play while retaining its secret-room structure and Area 51 conspiracy theme. Its setting centers on aliens, UFO activity, and buried government secrets rather than a traditional military shooter campaign.
